The Inter Alliance Court (IAC) settles disputes between alliances by issuing a decision regarding a resolution achieved by a judicial procedure.

Filing
1. Any party can file a case with the IAC by application to the IAC Clerk.
2. A filing of a case is considered as submitted and the procedure starts when:
2.1 The applying party (applicant) is an Alliance.
2.2 At least one of the charged parties (opponents) is an Alliance.
2.3 Grounds for the case have been submitted with the application.
2.4 A reasoning is submitted that allows the grief to be understood.
2.5 The filing fee of 1.500.000.000 ISK has been paid to the IAC Clerk.
2.6 The resolution sought is not mandatory, but may be included,
Notification
3. Any party subject to a submitted filing will be notified within the time limit according to the implementing regulations (IR) and can enter the procedure, decline or be deemed to be declining if after six months after the notification the party has not indicated to enter or decline.
3.1 To enter a procedure, a opponent fee of 300.000.000 ISK has to be paid to the IAC Clerk.
3.2 It is not mandatory for the procedure that any opponent enters the procedure.
Procedure
4. After entering the procedure, an opponent has six months to file objections relevant to the grounds of the case. The other parties involved in the procedure will be notified of this filing.
5. The applicant has the opportunity to file additional evidence and reasoning reacting to the objections provided by the opponents and alternative ways for resoluton within a time limit of six months after the last submission of the opponents.
6. After the legal time limits for filing have passed, the IAC Judge will issue a summons to Proceedings specifying a date for the Proceedings and an overview of the submissions, requirements for settling the proposed resolutions and a preliminary opinion.
7. After a summons, parties may submit new evidence and reasonings, but not later than two months before the date of the Proceedings and parties have to fulfill the requirements set out for resolution, if any, within the same time limit.
8. The procedure is public.
8.1 The IAC Judge will hear all parties that have entered the procedure on all outstanding grounds, outstanding resolutions, relevant evidence and relevant reasonings.
8.3 The IAC Judge will conclude by stating resolution should be implemented.
8.4 Within one month after Proceedings, the IAC Judge will issue it's reasoned first instance Decision to the parties involved in the procedure.
8.5 The procedure will take place at the designated time, even in the absence of at least one or all of the parties that have entered the procedure. The right to be heard of absent parties will be deemed to be fulfilled by default.
Appeal
9. An appeal may be filed with the IAC Clerk against any first instance decision of the IAC Judge within 1 month after the decision is issued by one of the parties involved in the procedure by paying a appeal fee of 1.000.000.000 ISK to the IAC Clerk, giving rise to a second instance procedure involving the appelant and the IAC Judge,
10. The second instance decision may be to uphold the first instance decision or to re-open the first instance procedure.
Resolution
10. Resolution of the decision has to be implemented by all the parties that have entered the procedure and the IAC Clerk, within one month after the first instance decision has become final, by either a second instance decision or by passing the time limit for appeal without a submission of an appeal having been deemed to be filed.
11. Effective resolution shall be aided and monitored by the IAC Clerk. Any lack of compliance of a party in fulfilling it's part in implementing the resolution shall be made public by the IAC Clerk.
